We had a great at summer camp this year. Although we only had six boys with us, we made our mark. Two of our scouts earned marksmanship awards in rifle shooting, two of our scouts were at the top of their class in the trail blazers program, and our troop eared the clean campsite award, the honor troop award, and beat out all of the other troops for the very coveted scout spirit award for all of their cheering and singing throughout the week. Not to mention all of the merit badges and the tons and tons of fun we had! We also had an Order of the Arrow election and the results will be announced at the next court of honor.

Jacob’s Eagle Project at the VFW has been completed. It turned out really great and we are all proud of his and our troop’s accomplishment. Congratulations!!

This year we were proud to be honored with great awards. Brad DeLoatche won the Scoutmaster of the Year award and Mike Tilley won the Cubmaster of the Year award for Marion District.

The Troop will be having their Christmas party on Monday, December 17th at 7:00pm in the OLS Parish Hall.
All family’s are invited.
There are a few items the boys must bring:
Side dish.
Gift for gift exchange.
Drink (soda, tea, lemonade).
Please RSVP by Friday, December 14th with the number of people that will be coming per family, and the entree you will be bringing.

Troop 18 Fall Food Drive
Canned meats and vegetables, cranberry sauce, boxed instant potatoes and stuffing, peanut butter, tuna, spaghetti, and canned spaghetti sauce donations are appreciated.
All food must be in by Saturday, November 3rd at 5:00 pm.
Our Troop will present the food to the OLS parish at the 11 am Mass on November 4th.
Full Class A attire should be worn.

We all had a great time at Swamp Fox this year! We always love camping at the Silver River State Park, but this time was the best. We met some really great scouts and scouters and we hope to see you all again soon.

Scouts will be camping out that night and there parents are welcome to stay as well!
This is an event to finalize plans for Summer Camp, for everyone to meet everyone else and to have some great food and fun!

This Camp-out has been canceled due to bad weather. We will reschedule this event at a later date.
This should be a great camp-out at a nice State Park only a few miles from Ormond Beach. This camp-out will be full of fishing, hiking, and swimming. I hope everyone can make it out to this one!
Meet at the Church at 11 on Saturday
We’ll be back Monday at 1pm
Bring $10 for food and $8 for camping fee
